KOPYR CARES PROGRAM – SOMEONE’S BABY

Our KOPYR Cares team operates as a family, sharing what we can with less fortunate members of our communities. We recently partnered with Tim Hortons and the Canadian Red Cross to serve food and hot chocolate to 95 homeless people in Surrey’s Whalley neighbourhood. One volunteer noted he’s always inspired seeing the recipients share what they’re given with others around who hesitate to come forward. Many homeless struggles with lack of employment, mental health conditions, and substance issues. The person you see in a difficult situation is more than their circumstances- like all of us, they were someone’s baby, and we can still do something to help and hope for better days for our family.
